Pokhara is one of the best places in the world to paraglide, and the good news is that you don't need any experience. You fly tandem, strapped in front of a licensed pilot who does all the steering.
We drive you up to the launch site at Sarangkot, where the crew fits your harness and helmet and talks you through the take-off: a few running steps, and suddenly you're flying. The classic flight lasts about 30 minutes, gliding over terraced hills with Phewa Lake below you and Machhapuchhre, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ahead. If you'd like longer in the air, cross-country flights are available on request.
You land on the lakeshore at Lakeside, just a few minutes' walk from most hotels. For a small extra charge, your pilot can film the whole flight on a camera pole, so you can relive it afterwards.

- We pick you up from your hotel in Lakeside or anywhere else in Pokhara. Just let us know where you're staying when you book.
- Cancellation
- A 25% deposit confirms your booking. If you cancel 10 or more days before your trip, we refund half of the deposit; within 10 days, the deposit is kept. If we have to cancel because of the weather or for safety reasons, you get your money back in full. Booking terms

- Wear trainers or hiking shoes and bring a light jacket, as it's cooler up in the air.

Is it safe?
You fly with licensed pilots from established companies, and they only fly when the weather is right. Follow your pilot's instructions and, for most people, it's a surprisingly calm experience.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the pilots can't fly, we'll move your flight to another day or give you a refund.
Can children fly?
Usually from about 8 years old, with a parent's consent. Please check with us first.
