Begnas is Pokhara's quiet lake. It lies about 45 minutes east of the city, wrapped in forested hills and terraced farms, and it feels a world away from the bustle of Lakeside. Local families fish here and use the water for their fields, and there are just a handful of small restaurants and resorts along the shore.
We drive you there, settle you into a rowing boat and let the lake do the rest. On a clear day, the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre rise above the far ridges. Your guide will tell you about the area as you go, and if you fancy it, you can try your luck fishing from the bank with the local anglers.

- Pickup from your hotel and a 45-minute drive east to Begnas.

- We pick you up from your hotel in Lakeside or anywhere else in Pokhara. Just let us know where you're staying when you book.
- Cancellation
- A 25% deposit confirms your booking. If you cancel 10 or more days before your trip, we refund half of the deposit; within 10 days, the deposit is kept. If we have to cancel because of the weather or for safety reasons, you get your money back in full. Booking terms
