Why take a jeep when you could take a horse? Your handler meets you at your hotel and leads you out of the city and up the green slopes of Sarangkot. From the viewpoint, you look out over Pokhara and Phewa Lake to the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre and Dhaulagiri.
On the way down, your handler stays right beside you on the steeper sections, and you ride back to your hotel. It's a calm, easy-going trip, and beginners are very welcome.
