About this tour
- No riding experience needed
- Past Davis Falls
- World Peace Pagoda views
- About 4 hours
Here's a gentle and rather different way to see Pokhara. Your pony handler meets you at your hotel, and together you ride along Lakeside, past Davis Falls and up the rough trail to the World Peace Pagoda. The climb takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
At the top, there's time to walk around the stupa and take in the view of the lake, the city and, on clear days, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu. Then you ride back down to your hotel. The whole trip takes about four hours, and you don't need any riding experience at all.
