Bindabasini Temple
Pokhara's best-known Hindu temple, dedicated to the goddess Durga, on a hilltop in the old bazaar.
Bindabasini Temple stands on a small hill in the old part of Pokhara, near Bagar. It's dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati, a form of Durga, and it's busy with worshippers every morning, especially on Saturdays and during festivals.
On clear days, the courtyard has views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre. Please dress modestly, and ask before taking photos of people at prayer.
