Pokhara's museum of the Himalaya: mountaineering history, mountain peoples, geology and wildlife.
The International Mountain Museum tells the story of the world's great mountains, and of the people who live among them and climb them. The exhibits cover the 8,000 m peaks, the early expeditions and their equipment, the cultures of the Himalayan valleys, and the geology, plants and animals of the mountains.
On a clear day, you can see the Annapurnas from the grounds. Allow about an hour and a half.
