Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave
A Shiva shrine in a limestone cave, whose lower passage ends right behind the waters of Davis Falls.
Across the road from Davis Falls, a spiral staircase leads down into Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. The upper chamber holds a shrine to Lord Shiva, with a natural stone lingam. From there, a narrower, damp passage carries on down to a spot where you can watch the water of Davis Falls pouring through the rock.
Wear shoes with a good grip, as the steps are wet. Photography isn't allowed inside the shrine.
